The Varsity Rugby team hosted their brothers from St. Thomas High School in Houston, Texas for the 2023 Basil Bowl.  It was a tough match and a big win for Shamrocks beating the Eagles 21-17.  The Basil Bowl is a unique Basilian tradition in which each team takes turns traveling to each other's schools every year for competition and comradery.  CC Rugby families hosted the 30 players from Texas at their homes, and it was a fun weekend of rugby and fellowship. Students and parents commented that it was a great experience as they were able to spend time with and get to know the boys from St. Thomas.
