Coach Hancock and the Shamrock Wrestlers will head to Wings Arena in Kalamazoo on Friday to defend their title as the MHSAA D1 State Champions.  The Shamrocks will enter with a 24-2 record and fresh off capturing their 16th Straight Regional Title.  

The Rocks will square off against Warren Mott who will make it's first trip to the MHSAA Team Finals and enter as the 8th seed with a 14-4 record.

"Our guys are excited to compete, they've put in a lot of hard work and are ready to get after it.  It's an incredible opportunity to represent CC, our program and our Shamrock Wrestling family. 

Leading the way for the Shamrocks will be their captains Darius Marines, Connor Bercume and Mason Stewart.  "Those three have done a remarkable job all year of leading through their actions in the room, on the mats, and in the classroom.  Their hammers."

Semis are scheduled for 9:30am on Saturday with the Finals taking place on Saturday at 3:45pm.  A spirit bus will be available for any student who wishes to make the trip to cheer on their Shamrocks.   See Coach Carrier to sign up.
