Football showed out with a strong performance on Senior Night, earning a 36–14 win over Grand Ledge on Friday, October 17, at The Elm.
Before kickoff, the program recognized the Class of 2026 players and their families for their dedication and contributions to the team.
Game Summary
The Shamrocks established control early, using an efficient offensive attack and solid defensive execution to keep Grand Ledge in check. Catholic Central led 14–7 late in the first half and carried that momentum through the final quarters, steadily extending its lead to secure the 36–14 victory.

Cedric Williams '26 paced the ground game with 121 rushing yards, averaging just over seven yards per carry.

Quarterback Duke Banta '26 completed 13 passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns.

The DCC defense delivered another consistent outing, holding Grand Ledge to just 14 points while forcing several key stops.
With the win, Catholic Central improves to 8–0, remains ranked as high as No. 1 in Michigan, and has officially been named 2025 CHSL Champions.
Looking Ahead
The Shamrocks now turn their attention to the Prep Bowl at Ford Field, where they'll face Martin Luther King High School on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The matchup will provide another opportunity for DCC to build on its strong season as postseason play approaches.
