DCC A Nightmare in Elm Stadium for Hartland with 35-7 Win

Detroit Catholic Central Football opened postseason play with a 35–7 win over Hartland on Friday, October 31, 2025. The victory moves the Shamrocks to the next round of the MHSAA playoffs and extends their undefeated season record to 10–0.

DCC established control early and maintained consistent momentum throughout the game. The defense limited Hartland's scoring opportunities, while the offense produced a balanced attack on the ground and through the air. Cedric Williams '26 led the rushing effort with 133 yards and two touchdowns, and Samson Gash '26 contributed 115 total yards and a touchdown.

With the win, Catholic Central will move on to the second round of the playoffs. The Shamrocks will host their next matchup on Friday, November 7, 2025, at The Elm against Brighton.
