The Shamrocks gave the home crowd plenty to cheer about Saturday afternoon, October 3, 2026, defeating Toledo Central Catholic 31-12 in the 82nd Annual Boys' Bowl at Fr. Richard Elmer, C.S.B. Stadium.

Catholic Central delivered another strong performance on both sides of the ball, controlling the game against a Toledo Central Catholic team that entered the matchup with a 5-1 record. The victory kept the momentum rolling for the Shamrocks as they head into the final weeks of the regular season.

Senior captains Duke Banta '27 and Gideon Gash '27 once again helped lead the way for Catholic Central. The duo has been instrumental throughout the season and continued to set the tone in one of the biggest games on the Shamrocks' schedule.

The win added another memorable chapter to a tradition that dates back to 1944. For 82 years, Boys' Bowl has served as Catholic Central's annual homecoming celebration, bringing together students, alumni, families, and friends of the school.

The Shamrocks return to action Friday, October 9, when they travel to Orchard Lake St. Mary's for a 7 p.m. Catholic High School League showdown.
