Senior Night at Catholic Central was a special one for the Class of 2027 as senior members of the football team and band were recognized with their families on Friday, September 18, before the Shamrocks took on Warren De La Salle.
As their names were announced, each senior walked onto the field with their parents and family members. The families stopped for a photo together before making their way off the field, giving the Catholic Central community an opportunity to recognize the students and the families who have supported them throughout their time at CC.
The celebration continued with a dominant performance from the Shamrocks, who defeated De La Salle, 53-0, to remain unbeaten at 4-0 on the season. Catholic Central led 43-0 at halftime and scored touchdowns on offense, defense, and special teams.
Senior Gideon Gash '27 turned in one of the night's biggest performances, scoring three touchdowns without taking an offensive snap. He returned an interception for a touchdown and added two punt-return touchdowns.
The victory marked Catholic Central's fourth straight to open the 2026 season. Through four games, the Shamrocks have outscored their opponents 221-28.
