Detroit Catholic Central High School

Tory Jackson

Coach Jackson brings a wealth of basketball knowledge and experience to the position, most recently serving as the head coach at Grand Blanc High School. He was named the 2022-23 Saginaw Valley League Coach of the Year after leading the team to a 25-3 record and Final Four appearance in his first year.

As a player, Coach Jackson has succeeded at numerous levels of the game. At Saginaw Buena Vista High School he was named two-time Michigan Class C Player of the year and was a four-time all-state honoree. He then played four years of basketball under Coach Mike Brey at the University of Notre Dame, where he was named Captain of the Fighting Irish as a senior and earned numerous BIG EAST, CBS, and Notre Dame awards for his play and leadership. Tory also served on the Notre Dame Student-Athlete Advisory Council. After graduating with a degree in Sociology and Computer Applications, Jackson spent some time playing professionally abroad before starting his coaching career.

"CC provides so much for its athletes and coaches, and I love everything about the Catholic League. It's the toughest conference in the state of Michigan so being a part of that excites me as well," said Jackson when asked in his initial interview, "In a lot of ways CC is like a mini version of Notre Dame. Notre Dame is my second home, so for me this feels like coming home."
