Junior goaltender Nicholas Kogut has been named Catholic Central’s Athlete of the Month after helping lead the Varsity Hockey team to its seventh consecutive MHSAA Division 1 state championship.

Kogut posted a 15–1 record, 1.47 goals-against average, and .922 save percentage while recording five shutouts during the season. His steady play in net helped anchor a dominant Shamrocks defense throughout the year as Catholic Central finished the season 27–1–1 and captured another state title.
