1959 HOCKEY TEAM

Following a long history of CC's participation and championships in the Detroit Recreation League and Varsity Team competition against Canadian schools and municipal teams, the International High School Hockey League, under the tireless efforts of Fr. James Enright, C.S.B., was established for the 1958-59 season as the forerunner of the MIHL and today's MHSAA program. The 1959 CC Varsity Team won the eight-team league, the playoff championship crown and the "mythical" State Championship with a 15-1-2 record. With the 1959 Championship Team as the foundation, CC has gone on to win an additional fourteen State and two National Championships as of 2014.
