BIOGRAPHY

FR. JAMES ENRIGHT, CSB


Regarded as one of the founding fathers of the legendary CC Hockey program, Fr. Enright originally became CC's Head Hockey Coach in 1948. In 1958, Fr. Enright founded the Metro High School Hockey League, the first high school hockey league in the state. His CC Hockey Teams won State Championships in 1959, 1961and 1968. Additionally, Fr. Enright was an Assistant Baseball Coach at CC for 27 years, with his summer recreation teams winning championships in 1963, 1964 and 1970. He is a member of the Catholic League Hall of Fame and the Michigan Hockey Hall of Fame.
