BIOGRAPHY
DEREK BROOKS '04
A multi-sport athlete, Derek played baseball, basketball and football at CC. It was on the football field where Derek earned his Hall of Fame credentials. Considered by many to be one of the finest CC football players ever, Derek started at tailback on the Varsity for 3 seasons, earning All-State honors, and leading the Shamrocks in rushing all 3 seasons. Derek led his teams to victories in 3 consecutive Division 1 State Championships in 2001, 2002, and 2003. As a senior in 2004, Derek won the Fr. James Whelan Award and earned a football scholarship to Princeton University.
