BIOGRAPHY

REV. EDWARD DONOHER, C.S.B.

Fr. Ned Donoher was the spiritual backbone of CCs stud aut athletes for 56 years. He was the moderator for the weekly 'spirit' bus, allowing students to attend Mass and then varsity football games. More importantly, the countless prayers and rosaries said during those games most assuredly accounted for more than one instance of 'Divine Intervention' on behalf of the Shamrocks. Fr. Donoher was best known for his passion and enthusiasm in teaching the CC Freshmen the spirit songs and cheers, many of which he composed. Fr. Ned is the first person inducted into the Hall of Fame without having played a sport or coached a team at Catholic Central.
