BIOGRAPHY

GORDON ST. JOHN 


One of the most successful hockey coaches in State history, Gordon St. John, Head Coach, led the CC Hockey Team to its first MHSAA State Championship in 1994. Continuing the legend of CC Hockey, Gordie went on to lead the Team to seven Class A Division 1 State titles, including five consecutive State Championships from 1999-2003. His CC Hockey Teams have been nationally ranked four times, and were ranked number one in the nation in 1997 and 1999. Gordie, now an Assistant Coach, was also part of the State Championship Team in 2005. His CC coaching record from 1994-2008 is 320 wins, 60 losses and 30 ties.
