BILL MCSWEEN '64


A multi-sport star, Bill McSween is considered to be one of the finest hockey players in CC history, earning both All-State and All-American honors while playing for CC and legendary coach Fr. James Enright, C.S.B. As a senior, Bill was named captain and led his team in scoring. Bill also played football and was Co-Captain of the Track team. As a senior track man, he set a school record in the Mile Run. Bill earned scholarships to Michigan State University, the United States Military Academy at West Point, and Brown University. He ultimately chose to play college hockey at Brown. Bill was inducted into the Michigan Amateur Sports Hall of Fame in 1978.
