REV. JOHN WARD, CSB '59

One of the most beloved Basilians in CC history, Fr. John Ward, CSB '59 was an accomplished track man in his days as a student at CC. Fr. -ward earned Varsity Cross Country letters in 1957 and 1958 and Track letters in 1957, 1958 and 1959. Fr. Ward's greatest contribution to CC athletics was during his 22 years as a Track & Field coach. His specialty was the hurdles, and his hurdlers won countless races and awards. Fr. Ward is a member of the Catholic High School League (CHSL) Hall of Fame.
