THE RODRIGUEZ BROTHERS
Under the guidance of their Hall of Fame father, Coach Mike Rodriguez, the Rodriguez brothers established themselves among the best wrestlers in CC history. Steve was a member of the Varsity for 4 years and won the individual State Championship in 1972 after helping lead the Shamrocks to consecutive Team titles in 1969, 1970, and 1971. Dave was a member of the Varsity for 4 years and won the individual State Championship in 1975 while also earning All-American honors. Dave also led the Shamrocks to the 1974 State Championship. Chris was also a member of the Varsity for 4 years, earning All-State honors and helped lead his Shamrock team to the 1988 State Championship. All three brothers continued their wrestling careers in college - Steve and Dave at Michigan State University and Chris at Eastern Michigan University.
