BOB HANDLOSER '54


One of the finest all-around athletes in CC history, Bob Handloser was a multi-sport star who during his CC career, earned nine Varsity letters in three different sports (Football, Basketball and Baseball) and received All-City, All-Catholic and All-State honors in both Football and Baseball. In his senior year, Bob was Captain of the Football, Basketball and Baseball teams and ran track in between baseball games his senior year. Bob accepted a football scholarship to Michigan State University after a try-out with the Detroit Tigers. At MSU, Bob played on National Championship teams in 1955 and 1956 and the Big Ten and Rose Bowl Championship team of 1956.
