BIOGRAPHY
FR. JOHN P. WHEELER, C.S.B. '57
As one of the co-founders of the CC Ski team, Fr. Wheeler took the team to the level of top competition among the elite teams in the state during his 16 years as coach. Preparation included participation in summer race camps in Montana, intensive fall training, daily winter training on the slopes and weekend races throughout the state. Father's teams were State runners-up three times and won two Regional and two League Championships. Father also co-founded the CC Soccer program in 1979 and served as moderator, bus driver, and chaplain to the Varsity, JV, and Freshmen soccer teams from 1979-1989. Since graduating from CC in 1957, Fr. Wheeler has served CC tirelessly as priest, teacher, coach, and Director of the Alumni Glee Club and he continues to be a great supporter of CC athletics and alumni activities.
