BIOGRAPHY
AL MORAN '57
Perhaps the finest all-around athlete in CC history, Al Moran was a multi-sport star who during his CC career, earned eleven Varsity letters in four different sports (Baseball, Football, Hockey and Basketball) earning All-Catholic and Ali-State honors in both Football and Baseball. Al earned a football scholarship to Michigan State University, but instead pursued his dream of becoming a major league baseball player after being drafted by the Boston Red Sox. He spent 10 years playing professional baseball. A member of the Catholic League Hall of Fame, Al also spent 23 years as an Assistant Baseball Coach at his alma mater.
