BIOGRAPHY
RON ROSS '59
Considered one of the toughest CC athletes of the 1950s, Ron was a four year, three sport letter winner in football, baseball, and hockey. As Co-Captain, Ron earned All-State honors in football and hockey. With CC's 1959 State Championship hockey team, Ron was the league's leading scorer and selected to the league's All-Star First Team. Following graduation, Ron was heavily recruited and chose Michigan State, where he played four years on the great Michigan State football teams of the 1960s under legendary coach Duffy Daugherty. In addition, Ron was one of only two Americans on the Michigan State Big Ten hockey team.
