1979 BASEBALL TEAM STATE CHAMPION
Led by Coach Frank Corej, leading hitter Chris Sabo, and ace pitcher Craig Herberholz, the 1979 CC Baseball team won the Class A State Championship, ending a 38 year championship drought. Sabo and Herberholz earned All-Catholic and All-State honors and the team finished with an outstanding 25-4-2 record.
