BIOGRAPHY
STEVE CAMPBELL '88
Perhaps the finest tennis player in CC history, Steve Campbell was a major contributor to the great CC Tennis Teams of the 1980's who captured State Championships in 1985 and 1986. Steve finished his CC career as 4-time Catholic League Champion, 4-time State Champion, 3-time All-Catholic League and 2-time All-State. His career record was 108-3 and in 1988 he was named a high school All-American. Steve accepted a scholarship to Rice University and was named a collegiate All-American in 1992. As a professional he competed in all four Grand Slam events and achieved a career-high ranking of #8 in the United States.
