1999 BASEBALL TEAM
Considered by many to be the greatest CC Baseball Team of all — time, the 1999 Baseball Team won the MHSAA Division 1 State Championship with a 6 — 5 victory over Troy High School. 25 The team also won the Catholic High School League (CHSL) Championship and finished the year with a record of 38 — 1 and finished ranked #12 in the nation by USA Today.
Coached by John Salter, the team was led by Captains Dave Lusly, Bobby Malek, Casey Rogowski and Anthony Tomey. Malek, Rogowski and Tomey earned both All-State and All-Catholic honors and Dan Duffey was also named All-Catholic.
