MARK MESSNER '84
Mark Messner is one of the finest football players ever to wear the coyal blue and white. A two-way player (tight-end and nose guard), Mark earned both All-Catholic and All-State honors as a junior and repeated those accolades as a senior, while also being named a high school All-American. Mark continued his football career at the University of Michigan where he was four-time All Big Ten and a two-time All-American. In 1989 he was drafted to the NFL by the Los Angeles Rams. Mark is a member of the Catholic League Hall of Fame.
